Please join us for the Hampden County Bar Association's 7th Annual Race Judicata: A Run for the Bar on Saturday, September 26, 2020. This year, we're going VIRTUAL!
What does that mean? A virtual race is a race that can be run or walked from any location you choose. You can run, jog, or walk on the road, a trail, on a treadmill, at the gym - anywhere! You get to run your own race, at your own pace, and time it yourself. We are excited to announce that in addition to the usual 5K run/walk, a 10K option will also be offered. Registrants will receive instructions to email finishing times to firstname.lastname@example.org by 11:59 pm on Saturday, September 26, 2020, to be included in the race results. The results and winning times will be posted by noontime on Sunday, September 27, 2020, and the top finishers in both the 5K and 10K will receive medals.
Proceeds raised from the 10K will benefit the William J. Boyle Scholarship and proceeds from the 5K will benefit the Colonel Archer B. Battista Veterans Scholarship, and the Children's Law Project.
All registrants will receive a participant shirt and a water bottle. Only those registered by September 13, 2020, will be guaranteed a shirt. Packets will be available for a quick pick-up on Friday, September 25, 2020, between 3:00-6:00 pm in Springfield, and on Saturday, September 26, 2020, between 8:00 - 11:00 am in Holyoke. Registrants will receive an email as the event approaches with more information.
Sponsorship opportunities are available! Please consider supporting this event and the William J. Boyle Scholarship, the Colonel Archer B. Battista Veterans Scholarship, and the Children's Law Project.
While we are disappointed that we cannot gather at the Ashley Reservoir this year, we hope you will join us in keeping the spirit of Race Judicata - A Run for the Bar alive, especially this year, as we remember our beloved and missed friend, and avid-runner, Judge William J. Boyle.
If you have any questions, please email email@example.com. Thank you!
